How to use it
-
Choose the type
Pick the type that matches the page, then enter real names, canonical addresses, dates, addresses or product details.
-
Review the JSON-LD
Read the output and check what your SEO plugin already adds, so the page does not carry two conflicting copies.
-
Validate and add it
Check it with the Schema.org validator and, where it applies, Google's Rich Results Test. Add the script to the page through your SEO plugin or theme, then look at the published page.
Markup that matches the page
This free builder writes JSON-LD for the facts on your own page: a business or organisation, a website, an article, a product, breadcrumbs or questions and answers. Fill in only what is true and visible on the page, then check the result before you publish it.
Know the limits
Checking your entries does not replace a full Schema.org or search feature check. The markup must match the visible facts, and ratings and reviews are written only when you enter them. Product output describes one offer, one shipping destination and one return policy. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026, but FAQPage is still a Schema.org type. No ranking or rich result is promised.
Check your markup with the Schema.org validator and Google's Rich Results Test, and read Google's structured data guidelines.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I put the generated markup?
Use the HTML script output in the corresponding page’s HTML, or give the JSON output to an integration that expects JSON-LD. Check the rendered page for existing SEO-plugin schema before adding it.
Does valid JSON guarantee a Google rich result?
No. This builder checks its inputs. Validate the output with Schema.org Validator and, for features Google supports, Rich Results Test. The page must also meet Google’s current content and technical guidelines; display is never guaranteed.
How do split shifts, overnight hours and holidays work?
Repeat a day on separate lines for split shifts, such as Monday | 09:00 | 12:00 and Monday | 13:00 | 17:00. A closing time earlier than opening spans midnight. Use 24h for 00:00–23:59 and closed for 00:00–00:00. Date ranges in special hours override the regular schedule. All times describe the business’s local time.
Can FAQPage create a Google FAQ rich result?
Google Search retired FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026 and removed the documentation on 15 June 2026. FAQPage remains available in Schema.org for describing real, visible questions with an official answer. Read Google’s update.
May I add reviews or answers that are not on the page?
Use only genuine, visible content. Do not invent reviews, ratings, authors, dates, questions or answers. Product review and rating fields are optional and start empty. FAQ answers must be complete and visible; check for duplicate markup from your SEO plugin.
Are my entries saved?
No. The form works locally in this browser, without uploading or saving the values. Download or copy your output before leaving. Reset clears the form and preview.
