-
Read the notes
Read the location and confidence notes, then use the DNS, WHOIS or WordPress checker for related questions.
Visible hosting signs and hidden infrastructure
This free hosting lookup combines the website's public responses, IP registration records and routing data. It can show the visible network, IP addresses, ASN and routed prefix where the data exists. Public headers and page code may also hint at the web server, cache, runtime or a WordPress site.
Network owner
IP registries name the network the address belongs to, and RIPE routing data adds the ASN and prefix where available. That network can belong to a CDN, a reseller or an upstream provider rather than the website's own host.
Location, with care
The registry country describes where the addresses were allocated, not where a server sits. Anycast and proxies can hide the origin, so no city or data centre is ever guessed.
Know the limits
A CDN or reverse proxy can hide the origin server and its host. The operating system, private PHP modules, databases and server resources stay unknown unless reliable public data shows them.
