How to use it
-
Choose the server
Choose Nginx or Apache and the site address, then enter old and new paths as CSV rows without a header.
-
Set the status
Choose a status code and how query strings are handled. Add a test address to see where the rules send it.
-
Merge and test
Copy or download the rules, merge them with your existing ones, check the server configuration and test on staging before you use permanent redirects.
Redirects you can check before they go live
This free redirect generator turns a list of old and new paths into exact-path rules for Nginx or Apache. It warns about repeated sources and loops, and its tester follows the chain for an address you enter. Your list never leaves the browser, including a CSV file you import.
Know the limits
The tester covers only these mappings, not the live server, your CDN or WordPress's own redirects. Paths are exact and case sensitive. Source query strings, regular expressions, percent-encoded paths and destinations with special characters are not supported. Up to 200 mappings are accepted.
