Website and domain checks

What is my IP address?

Find and copy the IP address your current connection uses, after a quick security check.

  • IPv4 or IPv6
  • Public or local
  • One click to copy

Free, no sign-up. Your address is shown to you and not saved by this site.

What is my IP?

What you can do

  • A fresh security check before each request

  • The IPv4 or IPv6 address of this connection

  • Whether the address is public or local

  • Copy the address

How to use it

  1. Ask for your address

Choose Check my IP. A quick Cloudflare security check runs first.

  2. Read the result

Read the address type and whether the address is public or local.

  3. Copy it

Copy the address if you need it. Checking again runs a new security check.

The address websites see

Every website you visit sees the IP address of your connection. This tool shows you that address for the request you make here, after a fresh security check, so you can copy it into a firewall rule, an allow list or a support request.

Know the limits

This site reads the address of the connection itself. It makes no automatic lookups, contacts no other website and does not track your location. A VPN or proxy changes the address websites see. Forwarded addresses sent by your browser are not trusted; only the hosting set-up can restore an address behind a trusted proxy.
